Congratulations and welcome to BTWHSPVA! All rising students and their parents/guardians are invited to the annual family orientation, "I Am Booker T Day." This engaging and informative event will be held on campus on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Please RSVP below to confirm your attendance and receive a free event shirt*, courtesy of your PTSA. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, and we will address them during the orientation.

*Free event shirt - A free event t-shirt will be provided for students entering the 2025-2026 school year to wear to "Flight School," a student orientation held on campus during the summer. This event typically occurs in late July or early August. Please indicate your student's shirt size on the form below, and visit the PTSA booth to pick it up. If you are unable to attend the family orientation, the t-shirt will be available at Flight School.

For Your Convenience

To make things easier for you, we've included an option on this form to join the PTSA, pay class dues**, and order spirit wear***. This way, you can save time by completing everything in one place instead of filling out multiple forms and waiting in line at the family orientation event. Additionally, families who purchase a membership with the PTSA will receive a complimentary tote bag at the event. (one tote bag per family)

**Class Dues - The PTSA grade-level committees work with the Student Council and class councils as one cohesive team of parents, teachers, and students to coordinate yearlong senior activities for each graduating class. We encourage all students to contribute to their class dues annually to offset the expenses of their senior year. The dues are $35 for students in grades 9-11 and $90 for those in grade 12. Please note that the $5 student PTSA membership fee is included in the class dues. Thank you for your support!

***Spirit Wear - Merchandise orders will be available for pick up at the PTSA meeting on May 6 at 6 p.m. in The Commons (school cafeteria) or can be picked up at Flight School.

Why join the PTSA? When you join the BTWHSPVA PTSA you join one of the state's largest PTAs. We are parents, students, faculty, staff and community members who provide practical and financial support to our school and students, keep our school community informed, and support the Texas PTA's mission. Membership is $15 per parent and $5 per student. As a member your student is eligible for scholarships up to $500 to attend art or academic enrichments programs every summer! When you pay your class dues below, your student's $5 membership is included. If you do not intend to pay class dues at this time, you can purchase your student's $5 membership below.
