PTSAThe BTW Parent Teacher Student Association - the PTSA - is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers, and students who have an interest in children, families and schools.

The BTW PTSA provides a wide variety of support and programs to the school, students, teachers and the BTW community. We host programs for parents and teacher appreciation events for faculty, treat our seniors, provide scholarship opportunities for students, and fundraise with the annual All-School-Musical.

Take a look around our website and reach out to any PTSA board members or committee chairs or leave a question or comment.

Do you know the history of our beloved school and building? Check out this video by the Advisory Board, created for this year's FLYINGHORSE, that chronicles the legacy that is Booker T. A second video, Two Schools, One Story, tells how the school was re-purposed in 1976 as Arts Magnet as part of the solution to address desegregation in Dallas schools.

School of Excellence Survey / Encuesta de la Escuela de Excelencia

The BTWHSPVA PTSA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders and community members is important to the success of our students and school. That’s why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students. As part of the process, National PTA requests feedback from families, administrators and teachers. We need your help! Please take 5-10 minutes to share your experiences at our school in this brief, anonymous survey. It is available in Spanish and English.
