2024-25 Back-To-School Checklist

2024-25 school year checklistThere are a few tasks you can complete over the summer to smooth the transition back to school:

Join the PTSA. We recommend at least one parent or guardian and student join the BTW PTSA. As a member, students are eligible for our $500 summer scholarship program and other benefits.

Pay class dues. You may not be thinking about senior year yet, but the PTSA is! We recommend paying into your class dues ($35 for 9-11th grade and $90 for 12th grade) when you renew your PTSA membership annually so the Senior Activities Committee has the funds and resources to plan an amazing year when your student is a senior. The $5 student membership is included in your class dues.

Register or update your profile with VOLY. All volunteers must be current.

Make the Pegasus Promise to volunteer at least four hours during the 2024-25 school year. There are so many ways you can volunteer, and we are grateful for all your support!

Download the Membership Toolkit app (App Store or Google Play) and make sure your PTSA Membership Toolkit account is current. The app makes it very easy to keep track of your membership, orders, subscriptions and volunteer opportunities, and easily access the latest PTSA news.

Join your conservatory guilds. We encourage our families to join both the PTSA and their guild so they are connected at the school and conservatory level. Visit the Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts Guild websites for details. Did you know that all guilds and the PTSA use Membership Toolkit? When you download the app and create your MTK account, you can access your PTSA and guild info through one account.

Fill out the all-school productions form. If your student is interested in participating in any all-school production (ASM, Hispanic Heritage, African American Heritage or Creations), they need to complete this interest form to share their interests, skills and talents.
