The Booker T. Washington HSPVA Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) plays a vital role in enriching our school community by providing a wide range of support and programming for students, teachers, parents, and the campus as a whole. Every initiative is thoughtfully aligned with the school’s goals and the PTSA’s mission to advocate for the success and well-being of all.

Your $500 Student Advocate donation will support:

• The PTSA Reflections program by donating monetary prizes
• The All-School Dance to provide entertainment, decor, photo booth, tickets, etc.
• Booker T Angels, the school-wide community outreach program to adopt neighboring elementary school families in need
• Student clubs and organizations for campus and/or nationwide activities
• Grade-level initiatives, programs, and social activities
• Pegasus Pantry, our on-campus resource that helps supplement meals and provide healthy snacks for students in need
• Scholarships for students to attend an arts or academic enrichment program in the summer

Your $300 Faculty Advocate donation will support:

• Teacher and staff appreciation meals and activities throughout the year
• Education enrichment, supplemental education software such as Turn It In and communication tools such as Remind
• College Showcase appreciation lunch for faculty and college representatives

Your $100 Parent Advocate donation will support:

• Parent University to help empower parents with resources important to both student learning and socio-emotional development
• Lunch talks with the principal that provide an opportunity for parents to learn and dialogue about important topics

Your $100 Family Advocate donation will support:

• Hospitality for rising family orientation (I Am Booker T Day) and back-to-school orientation (Pegasus Pick Up and Flight School)
