Class Councils 

The Student Council will host elections for class council officers in March. The class councils are part of the Student Council, and students will work with the PTSA Class Committees to support the same goals as one cohesive team of parents, teachers and students. Currently, the Senior Council is the only grade level with officers. Students in grades 9-11 are encouraged to join their class council to learn more about the election process and create a sense of community for each grade level with fun ways to socialize and fundraise.

Reminder: all funds raised through class dues and fundraisers support senior year experiences including Booker T. senior traditions, Prom, Baccalaureate, and more.

To get started

• Sign up with your Class Council! Students can join the Class Council by emailing Dean Countryman at ccountryman@dallasisd.org.
• Sign up with your PTSA Class Committee! Parents and students can join the PTSA Class Committee by filling out the committee interest form.
• Student Council membership will be collected in the fall of 2024. PTSA parent and student memberships are required to join the committee. A parent/guardian membership is $15, and a student membership $5. Memberships can be purchased online. 
• Sign up with Remind to receive information for your class. Text the appropriate Remind code below to 81010.
