BTWHSPVA is proud to present the premiere performance of NUEVOS TIEMPOS: A New Musical!This original musical theater production is led by students and features original writing, music composition, choreography and more in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Join us at the Montgomery Arts Theatre from October 16-18, 2024!

 

The musical is set in the futuristic world of 3024, where a young woman’s pursuit of her artistic dream unknowingly entangles her in the destruction of her home city. A mysterious time traveler from a thousand years ago guides her with wisdom as they explore the advanced city. She undergoes a transformative journey of self-discovery and embraces her heritage with unwavering pride. As she delves deeper into the past, she uncovers her pivotal role as the heart of Resiliente City, igniting a tale of legacy.

 

 

 

SHOW DATES - The show starts at 7 pm on October 16-18, 2024. The lobby opens at 6:30 pm.

  • Wednesday, October 16, 7 pm - Student Preview Day (Free admission)
  • Thursday, October 17, 7 pm - Opening Day 
  • Friday, October 18, 7pm - Closing Day

TICKETS - Purchase your tickets online to avoid the line! All tickets are for general seating. Ticket Prices: Adults $20, Students $15, and children under 5 are free.

ATTENTION JUNIOR PARENTS + STUDENTS - The PTSA Class of 2026 Committee is proud to support this year's Hispanic Heritage Production, and we need your help by hosting the hospitality needs of the show. Proceeds from the concessions and Junior merch sales sold during the shows go to the Class of 2026 senior funds! Please sign up to volunteer and donate concession snacks from the Amazon Wishlist. If you want to join the Class of 2026 Committee to help plan and organize the fundraising and program efforts, please email Marsha Peters, Committee Chair.

 

DONATE - Please help us provide hospitality for the cast, band, and crew!

  • Donate concession beverages - all proceeds support the production expenses.
  • Underwrite a 'Feed the Kids' dinner for 130 people. (This could be donated by one family or several families working together to support. Donations are custom to whatever your family can provide. For reference, here is an estimate of catering. It does not include tax, delivery, and paperware.
    • $10 meals for 130 students/staff = $1,300
    • $10 meal for 10 meals per student = $100
