Booker T. Washington PTSA - All-School Musical Audition Form for Cast, Band and Crew

The ALL School Musical audition is open to ALL students from ALL conservatories in grades 10-12 in the 2025-2026 school year, regardless of experience. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!

All students interested in being in the cast, band, or crew for the 2025-2026 all-school musical must complete this audition form by May 15, 2025. Please include all your interests, talents, skills, and a headshot. BTWHSPVA's artistic leadership will review all audition forms. Student leadership will receive direction from the artistic leadership and instruction and guidance from the faculty liaison.

CAST - AUDITION DATES (form due May 15, 2025)

All students must audition for both the singing and dance calls to be considered for a speaking role or ensemble. Students who excel in singing must still audition for dance, and those who excel in dancing must audition for singing.

SINGING CALL: May 19 or 20,2025, 2:40 pm, The MAT - Select your preferred date below. Prepare a 16-32 bar cut of a song (can be from the show). A bar is equal to a measure, approximately 60 seconds. Students should bring accompaniment and supporting instrumental tracks. When selecting your tracks, be sure that there are no vocals. Songs can be simple. Students must provide a portable speaker if the school equipment does not connect to their device. Please, no A Capella singing.
DANCE CALL: May 21, 2025, 2:40 pm, location TBA - There is only one audition date for the dance call. Please dress comfortably for movement. You will learn, rehearse, and perform a combination during rehearsal.
CALL BACKS: May 23, 2025 - As needed. Stay prepared for script readings.

BAND: All interested instrumentalists who want to perform in the orchestra must complete this form by May 15, 2025.

CREW: All interested students who want to be a crew lead or members must complete this form by May 15, 2025.
