MESSAGE FROM 2025-26 PTSA PRESIDENT LEAH MORA
Spring Momentum & Upcoming Highlights

I hope you had a restful, restorative break and a wonderful start to spring. With just a few months left in the school year, there’s so much to look forward to!

Active slating is now in its final weeks. If you’re interested in serving in a PTSA leadership or Committee Chair role next year, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a meaningful way to get involved, and several open positions are outlined below. We aim to finalize nominations for all board positions ahead of our April 7 PTSA meeting, when the official slate vote will take place. We’re also excited to introduce the new Board and Committee Chairs at I Am Booker T Day on April 11.

As we begin this transition to new leadership, I want to share what an honor it has been to serve as your president this past year. I’m deeply grateful for your trust, support, and collaboration, which made this experience so meaningful. Together, we’ve worked as a creative team to accomplish important goals, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. Thank you for the opportunity to lead and to partner with such dedicated and inspiring members of the BTW community.

We also have many scholar artists to celebrate this week! From State-level Reflections recognition to Broadway Dallas, Mock Trial, and much more. Congratulations to all of our outstanding students on their incredible achievements. Be sure to see the details below.

Looking ahead, the cross-conservatory production, CREATIONSwill take place on May 1. Be sure to mark your calendar for this dynamic showcase of talent, where each piece offers a unique perspective from our scholar artists as they help shape the world around us.

Let’s carry this energy forward and finish the school year strong!

With gratitude,

Leah

  • A second surprise at Pegasus Pickup
  • Fully planned and funded first‑week‑of‑school activities

Your early participation helps us start senior year strong and deliver the memorable experiences our students deserve.

Important Notes

  • Paying class dues includes student PTSA membership (please do not purchase a separate student membership).
  • These contributions ensure we can plan a full range of meaningful senior‑year traditions and celebrations for every student in the Class of 2027.
  • If you’re able, additional support is welcome to help close the gap and ensure high‑quality experiences for all: SPOSNOR A CLASS OF 2027 SENIOR
