| Jennifer Wheeler Hall is a proud East Dallas native and lifelong supporter of the arts, education, and creative expression. A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School’s Class of 1993, Jennifer was immensely involved in campus life—singing in Choir and Show Choir, performing in Musicals, and most memorably, serving as Captain of the Sweethearts drill team. Her love for performance and communication was sparked early, thanks in part to her parents, both respected broadcasters in the Dallas area. Raised in a media-savvy household, Jennifer naturally cultivated a gift for engaging audiences and conveying impactful messages—a talent deeply rooted in her upbringing and one she brings to life in everything she does. |

After graduating from Abilene Christian University, Jennifer launched a vibrant 15-year career in advertising and media, where her creativity and strategic insight lit up every project she touched. As a Media Buyer and Copywriter for The Northway Group/Core Group Advertising (now Core Publishing, LLC), she brought ideas to life with both flair and precision. Her influence extended beyond the office—she served on the Board of American Women in Radio and Television (now The Alliance for Women in Media), and proudly held membership in SAG/AFTRA, reflecting her deep connection to the world of storytelling and broadcast. As her family grew, Jennifer embraced a new chapter with open arms, shifting her focus to her children’s early education. She became the Front Office Secretary at Lake Highlands Junior High School (now Lake Highlands Middle School) in RISD, where for six years she was a steady, welcoming presence—greeting students with warmth, supporting parents with care, and uplifting staff with grace. Since 2015, she has continued to lead with heart in her role as Administrative Office Manager and Peer Review Specialist at McBee & Co., PC, a respected CPA firm in Lakewood. Jennifer’s devotion to community is woven into everything she does. She currently serves on multiple boards, including the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation, the WoodrowFest Board, and The Enclave at Wooded Creek Homeowners Association. She also holds the role of Communications Chair for the Woodrow Wilson High School Alumni Association, where she helps preserve the legacy of her alma mater with pride and purpose. Her role as PTSA 3rd VP of Communications at BTWHSPVA has been one of the most meaningful chapters of her volunteer journey. Over the years, Jennifer has served on numerous PTSA boards and committees, but she describes the Booker T. PTSA as something truly special—a family of passionate parents, visionary educators, and creative dreamers. She feels deeply honored to walk alongside them, and especially grateful to witness her youngest daughter flourish in the Music Conservatory. Jennifer and her husband, David, live in Lakewood with their daughter Lillie, a junior at Booker T., along with two beloved dogs and two “grand dogs” who fill their home with joy. They are proud parents of three grown children and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild in February—a new chapter filled with love and anticipation. Whether she’s crafting communications, organizing events, or cheering from the audience, Jennifer brings spirit, humor, and a deep sense of purpose to everything she touches. Her unwavering commitment to the arts, education, and community continues to leave a lasting imprint—one message, one moment, and one inspired soul at a time. Fun Fact | Jennifer once dreamed of becoming a radio broadcast personality—clearly inspired by her hilariously talented parents who could’ve starred in their own TV sitcom. She still hasn’t ruled it out… so don’t be surprised if you catch her on the airwaves someday, mic in hand and punchlines ready. |
Jennifer Wheeler Hall has brought a vibrant voice and thoughtful presence to her role as PTSA 3rd VP of Communications. With every message, update, and outreach, she’s helped weave a stronger sense of connection throughout the Booker T. community. Jennifer doesn’t just share information—she tells our story, celebrates our wins, and uplifts the people who make this school extraordinary. Her work reflects a deep care for our students, families, and faculty. Whether she’s crafting a newsletter, spotlighting a volunteer (even if it happens to be herself this week!), or cheering on a performance, Jennifer brings warmth, clarity, and heart to everything she does. Her background in media and her lifelong love of the arts shine through in her ability to capture the spirit of Booker T.—a place where creativity thrives and community matters. Let’s take a moment to recognize Jennifer’s incredible contributions. Her dedication keeps us informed, her compassion keeps us connected, and her enthusiasm reminds us why we show up. We’re truly grateful for the grace, brilliance, and humorous spirit she brings to our school every day. |
