MESSAGE FROM 2025-26 PTSA PRESIDENT LEAH MORA
Hello Booker T. Community!

We have many countdowns happening and are riding high on a major recognition this week!

Days until:

  • 1st Day of Pegasus Pick Up: 9
  • Flight School & Parent University: 11
  • Sustaining Sponsorship Deadline: 20
  • First Day of School: 22
  • 1st PTSA Meeting: 43
  • Purchase of Guys and Dolls Playbill Ads: 44
  • ASM Opening Night: 51

I am proud to announce that our PTSA had a national recognition this past week: Voice for Every Child Award - Platinum (see below).  This award signifies our commitment to supporting our scholar artists and is the highest a PTA can receive.  I am certain we can be award winners for 2025-2026 as we are already off to a great membership start this year with 588 members which is 29.4% of this year's 2000-member goal.  As we gear up for the major 50th celebration next year, we are highly encouraging Alumni Membership for only $5.  Please reach out to all alumni as we have major plans in the works for next year and alumni are a great resource for networking and collaboration with Booker T. Washington scholar artists.

Please complete or renew your membership, submit class dues, and committee interest forms.

With gratitude,

Leah
