SUBJECT: RED ALERT: 2027 Popcorn Fundraiser Instructions

SET UP YOUR STORE AND LET'S GET GOING!!!

Here are the step-by-step instructions for setting up your individualized Double Good Store for your 2027 Pegasus.  

Search Double Good Popcorn in your app store and download the app.  

This is the First Image Once Loaded

Click "Get Started' and in the next few screens you will click through several images as shown below.


It is an easy process that takes about 5 minutes.  It will take you longer to read this newsletter than to set it up. It can all be done on your cell phone.

Click "Next"

Click "next" for three screens. These are informational screens.  

Enter Your Mobile Phone Number

You will then reach the: Enter your cell phone number screen.

Enter your cell phone number and Hit "Send Verification Code"

Enter The 4 Digit Code

You will receive a text message to the cell phone number you entered in the previous screen. 


Entering the code will validate your number and app to start the process of setting up your store. 

Enter Your Email Address

Enter your email address to receive confirmation of your set up. 

Confirm Your Email

Please be sure to agree to "Terms and Conditions".

You may be able to opt out of signing up for promotional texts.  

There is always an option to opt out later.  

Email

You will receive a confirmation email with the date span of the fundraiser and ability to create your store.


This email will have a link to go to the app set up or you may continue to set up the store by continuing the steps on the app. 


You may wish to read this email later and continue the set-up process in the app by proceeding to the next screens.

Step 1: Enter Your Student's First Name

Since this is supposed to be their fundraiser, enter your student scholar's first name. 

There will be an opportunity to upload a photo and even video later on in the set-up process.  The goal is to pull at the heart strings and get people to donate for our respective students. 

Step 2: Enter Your Student's Last Name

Complete the process by entering the last name. 

If you wish to not enter the full name, consider being creative with initials, nick names, etc... 

Please be advised that the point is to generate support for them as a member of the class so the easier it is for family and friends to recognize, the better. 

You are now confirmed to set up a store!

You will notice the student initials in the upper right-hand corner. 

It is advisable to allow notifications for now to keep up with the progress of your store.  

Recall that you can delete the app once the fundraiser is completed and we have raised well over $5,000! :)


Confirmation of Notifications

Click allow as this will allow you to receive alerts and updates. 

You can adjust settings later, or again, delete the app altogether after we are done with the fundraiser and we are over $5,000 - see where I am going with this! :)

You Are Now Ready To Join the Class of 2027 Fundraiser!

You will need to "click" or press on the ENTER an EVENT Code section. This will prompt you to enter our Double Good specific Event CODE for the Booker T. Washington HSPVA Store that was set up by Maggie Lopez.

This should be the next screen on your app. 

Click "Join Event" at the bottom right corner.

SPECIAL NOTIFICATIONS

Once you clink and have joined the event, you see that you will be notified that you will have a unique link to share amongst family and friends via social media, texts, emails, etc... 


Remember the goal: 

SUPPORT THE ARTISTS OF TODAY AND TOMORROW, FAR AND WIDE.


There is no limit to who can purchase as the popcorn is directly delivered to the supporter.  


AND... we only have FOUR days!!!

SET UP YOUR STORE!

After clicking "Let's Go!", you can start setting up your store.  

Everyone has a pre-set goal of $500 - a goal you are welcome to exceed! Everyone has a large network of family and friends.  


You may be more effective if you load a picture: headshot, child with their instrument, favorite dance pose, or them with a favorite piece of art, etc... 


Then click to agree with the Terms and Conditions and "Create My Pop-Up Store".

Please note that you will be able to:

-See your uploaded photo

-Load a compelling video

-Insert a phrase detailing your goal

-Track your goal progress

And you can also see the board and have access to a team chat!


NOW GO GET BUSY CREATING YOUR INDIVIUAL STORES AND LET YOUR STORE RUN ITSELF!

The Pegasus who raises the most funds will be the Class of 2027 Senior who will cut the ribbon at the Senior Class entrance on the first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year when all seniors will gather for the opening pre-school party on the campus lawn.  

They will cut the ribbon and be the first Class of 2027 Senior to lead our class into what is sure to be an emotional, monumental and exciting year!

I can also report that Becky Wade's tremendous efforts with the See's Candies fundraiser have paid off and the check from See's has been received and will soon be in our account.  


Please don't forget to pay your class dues. 

Due to the accounting system within Membership toolkit, you can only join the 30/30/30 campaign within the Month of February.  Starting March 1, 2026, all class dues will be $90 and payable at any time.  Why not pay now?
