Class of 2027 | Supplemental September Newsletter

Hello Class of 2027 Families,

We’re excited to launch our new Class of 2027 newsletter format—a fresh way to keep you informed, involved, and inspired throughout the year!

This edition is arriving a bit earlier than usual to spotlight our upcoming Sounds and Voices Fall Festival, a major focus for our class this fall. We’ve got a fantastic lineup of activities planned, including a karaoke contest, and we’d love your help bringing them to life.

Volunteer Opportunities | Please take a moment to review the events and sign up to volunteer. These hours count toward the 20-hour summer scholarship requirement, so it’s a great way to support the class and stay on track!

We Still Need Help! | We’re actively seeking volunteers and auction item donations to make our events a success. Every contribution makes a difference!

Budget Updates | We’ve added a dedicated section in each newsletter to keep you informed on our class budget and fundraising progress.

Join the Class Committee | Interested in helping shape the Class of 2027 experience? Reply to this email or complete [this form] to join the committee. Be sure to select Class of 2027 under “Committee(s) of Interest.”

Thank you for your continued support—we’re building something special together!

CLASS BUDGET
Set 2027 Budget

This is the agreed upon budget to cover Senior Year. There have been two amendments which in total added a line item for 1) a May treat 2) A treat at Pegasus Pickup 3) separating senior welcome week from the total monthly surprise budget and 4) covering everyone's yard signs.

Funds Raised to Date

This is the breakdown of funds we have to date from all of the dues, donations, spirit night events, and our AA show which included the auction.

We have secured $19,219.25 save $472.00 dollars still not accounted for from our Kendra Scott event in February 2025.

We need to raise $15,705.75 to achieve our goal which will still be affected by Senior class dues, inflation and our ability to fundraise this year.  This budget does not account for the goal of covering everyone's caps and gowns for graduation.

This should be achievable with Senior Dues and activities this year.

DIRECT DONATIONS
THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS!

A heartfelt thank you to Olga Muras, grandmother of Hope Medrano, and Angela Medrano, Hope’s mother, for their generous support—along with a recurring donation made on behalf of Mia Olea. These contributions make a meaningful impact and we’re proud to recognize them as our most recent Direct Donors to the Class of 2027.

As a reminder, direct donations are tax-deductible and may be eligible for employer matching programs, which can further amplify your support.

Thank you for helping us invest in the success of our scholar artists!
